I was looking for a Joint supplement to bring into my feed program, as the company I was using pulled out of Canada and it got very expensive to bring it over the border.
I have been a loyal customer to Techna Vet now for 2 years. Their Galozyme Sport was a game changer for my horses. After some very informational phone conversations, I added the complex 40 to my competition horses program as well and changed some things up. The difference in the health of my horses has astronomical. So when I spoke my concerns about Joint care and if they had any leads on something good, I was given the opportunity to try out their trial Joint formula before it became released to the public. I couldn’t turn it down. If the other products changed my horses for the better, this has got to be a great add.
My senior horse, 21 years old, who ran his last season of barrels this summer, was who I planned to help. He had injections in the spring and they held for a bit but I started to notice some symptoms coming back. Bringing in the Joint Formula, quickly changed this around. I noticed suppleness and full range of motion return to his movements in just under 2 weeks. He finished out his season strong and sound. At 21 years old and running the way he was able to, I have no doubt that this Joint Formula worked its magic. He will continue to be on it as he makes his way into retirement to be my little girls, sound, happy and functional horse.
I have started my younger competition horses on this and I plan to see happy, functional horses as well. I truly feel this will help upkeep their joints and functions through their hard work, trailer time and running barrels.

Love this product! I’ve had the opportunity to really put the joint care through its paces.
I’ve had my 3 horses on it and I’ve seen results in many areas, not just joint care. It has so much more benefits than other joint care products that I’ve witnessed several horses on through my boarding facility.
My first experience was how quickly my TWH had come back from a torn pectoral muscle. I had massage therapists and an osteopath out prior with not much luck. I was back riding him in less than 1 month. I decided to put my mare on a maintenance dose at a young age and she hasn’t shown signs of lameness. Recently, I had increased my morab gelding’s dose from maintenance to therapeutic. I have been struggling with breathing issues for the past 3 years. I had to retire him from endurance and competitive trail due to equine asthma. The forest fires, mostly, in year 2, he started reacting to other environmental allergies as well. It all started at a local endurance ride where I pulled him because he started to cough. I was able to treat him with dexamethasone as per my vet and that worked for the summer and was still able to lesson, train and join in on endurance rides. We did complete our first 50 mile endurance ride without breathing issues.
Over the next year the dex just wasn’t effective and I was using more and more. He coughed through the winter of year 2 and started wheezing. I tried inhalers last winter and now we’re 3 years in. I had trained to become a massage therapist under Karen Saindon and had the opportunity to train with her further in Florida and Arizona. I added in diaphragm releases and got him using his lungs.
Sav had always told me, that his joint care was effective with many ailments and so I thought, what if I increased his joint care supplement? Three months ago, I doubled his dosage. It was then that I really started seeing improvement. I was able to ride him this summer for 3 hours at the park with minimal coughing. I realized that his lung issues were not exercise induced so I decided to get his lungs working more, despite wheezing and coughing. Throughout the years Copper’s coughing had become a normal sound especially when the smoke from the forest fires blew in.
Since increasing the joint care, the wheezing and his coughing was getting less and less. The wheezing, especially, is non-existent now and I can’t remember the last time he had a coughing fit. I took him on a ride a few days ago and he had coughed a bit but it was only once and he was clear after that. 2 months ago I started adding him back into the lesson schedule and have been back to the park and on our trail loop at Superior Equestrian Center, several times this fall. He is such a happier horse now that he has his job back. I am excited for more riding this winter and really curious what Spring/Summer 2025 has in store for us!

I know that having my horses on your feeding program has benefited them. The STJ Plus working in symbiosis with the Galozyme is proving again, to be a game changer and has given Copper the ability to do what he loves!
